A Message from the DOH Co-Chairs
We are honored to be your Co-chairs for the 2010 Dinner of Honor. Our theme this year was simple. 
GHA celebrates the past and plants the seeds for our children’s future. We are proud that our school has touched so many lives; our students…our parents…our teachers… and our community.
Dinner of Honor could not have taken place without our army of volunteers who helped to make this evening possible and we would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to all of them. We are thrilled that we were able to honor two leaders in GHA’s community who have done so much for our school over the years, Martha Berlin and Deborah Jacobs. We thank them for allowing us the opportunity to not only honor them but to be part of their wonderful evening of honor.

The Top 10 Reasons Why the 2010 DOH was a Great Evening and a Huge Success
10. There were more than 550 people attending and the ballroom was filled!
9. There were more than 400 incredible items displayed beautifully at the Silent Auction making this year's Silent Auction the best ever!
8.We celebrated the past, present and future with participation from alumni and current students.
7. There were more than 80 3rd through 8th grade students who performed in the musical presentation and they were all terrific!
6. We took a walk down memory lane with live interviews from each of GHA's decades: 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, and 2010.
5. We all enjoyed a delicious kosher meal of rack of lamb, salmon, and vegetarian entrees that delighted our guests.
4. We had an army of volunteers and staff that helped us bring our evening to fruition!
3. We had a new, fresh format with fewer speeches. It kept our evening moving and flowing nicely.
2. We had a lovely and professionally printed Art Literary Magazine that showcased our students' art and
literature in a keepsake magazine enjoyed by all! We thank Dr. Jeff Allen for all his hard work!
1. The # 1 reason why 2010 DOH was special and a success was that we honored two deserving and wonderful
