Specialties
Because school is more than just a classroom and a desk, GHA hosts a large library, an outdoor classroom with stadium seating and state-of-the-art equipment to enhance the learning experience.

Science
Our science curriculum is very dynamic with hands-on experiences at all grade levels. Students begin exploring the wonders of science from preschool through second grade using a curriculum that is integrated into their General Studies. Lower School science is taught by a science specialist. Instructors encourage the children to develop their ability to think and use the scientific method.
We use a cutting edge curriculum called "Inquiry Based Science" in the Middle School. This curriculum was developed in partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology and Northwestern University. Students formulate their own questions related to specific science topics. These questions guide their research and experimentation.
Library/Media Center
The library has more than 22,000 volumes and an average monthly circulation of 1,500. Computers, periodicals, video and audio tapes, and transparencies further support the classroom curriculum. Our librarians sponsor special programs and projects to improve students' reading, listening and research skills.

Outdoor Classroom
Our new outdoor classroom allows students across all disciplines to interact with the environment in a wireless setting. Fish, turtles and frogs populate our pond, and a butterfly, vegetable and herb garden provide students with a unique classroom setting that is surrounded by trees found in the land of Israel. Classes can also take advantage of the new stadium seating so that they can learn outside of the typical indoor classroom.
The Arts
Visual and Music:
Students learn about the history of art and create their own masterpieces by experimenting with classic techniques. Students' artwork likes our walls. Students are exposed to music everyday in our music program. The sounds of melodies and songs fill GHA's halls daily.
Theater and Drama Performing Arts:
Each year, through our Performing Arts Department, our students work with professional directors, musicians and choreographers to stage top quality productions. Past shows include Peter Pan, Fiddler on the Roof, Honk, The Wizard of Oz and Seussical the Musical. The impact of these performances on our students is immeasurable and we have seen that children are truly transformed on stage. Our Artist in Residence guides our students through drama, dance and music programs.
Technology
Technology instruction begins with our 3-year-olds. We focus on integrating technology into both the Judaics and General Studies curricula. Students have access to our four state-of-the art computer labs, new video studio, and the mini labs in their classrooms. New smart boards are an integral part of instruction in many classrooms, and the GHA campus is completely wireless. Our goal is to make every student fluent in technology.
