The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund helps Greenfield Hebrew Academy offset its operating expenses. This includes supporting the 23% of students who are currently receiving financial aid. These students would not be able to afford a Jewish education if not for your generosity.
Your support to the Annual Fund also helps pay for the most up-to-date books, the finest faculty, Kosher, nutritious lunches, and all of the extras that only a Jewish Community Day School can provide.
The Friends of the Greenfield Hebrew Academy Annual Fund has the following gift levels:
Visionary.................$5,000+
Benefactor...............$2,500 - $4,900
Builder.....................$1,000 - $2,499
Guardian..................$500 - $ 999
Patron......................$181 - $ 499
Donor......................up to $180
To participate in the Annual Fund, please call GHA at 404.843.9900.

Targeted Giving Areas
Technology
Greenfield Hebrew Academy is making a concerted effort to ensure that technology is an integral part of our students’ education. Students use technology as both a resource and a tool to enhance and to complement their education. Our fundamental goal is for students to master technology skills, which they can then integrate seamlessly into any area of their learning. We plan to accomplish this goal by providing the software, hardware and preparatory courses to every student, as well as investing in teacher training to ensure that teachers have the necessary skills to integrate technology into their lesson plans.
We know that our investment in technology will be considerable, but we are confident that the benefits -- teaching efficiencies, training, school administration and communication - will far surpass the tangible cost. Your generous support allows us to keep advancing in the technology arena.
Performing Arts Center
While weekly music classes take place in the classroom, performances, assemblies, and presentations are held in our state-of-the-art theater, which opened in 2001. With more than 650 fixed seats, GHA has the largest full seating theater outside of a congregational sanctuary setting. Our GHA Players will perform Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory this year and past student productions include The Wizard of Oz, Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Survivor, Honk! and Top Ten. Our beautiful theater has also been loaned to local Jewish organizations for use during non-competing school time. Complete with a computerized sound system, light booth and large-scale prep area, our venue is one of a kind for elementary age students in a Jewish day school. To further provide a well-rounded education, GHA has both a Performing Arts Coordinator and an Artist-in-Residence, who integrate and oversee our Arts Programs.
M'silot
Hebrew for ‘Pathways,’ M’silot welcomes children who learn differently and helps them develop skills to maximize their potential and a positive self image. The classes have a 1 to 5 teacher-student ratio and emphasize remedial strategies to help children compensate for their learning differences. Children have their unique needs met while still being an integral part of a larger community of learners. We include those Jewish students who might otherwise have been left out of obtaining a Jewish education because of differences. This would not be possible without your financial support. M'silot is for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Middle School
GHA is committed to creating a Middle School of excellence. This includes future improvements to the Middle School including a Middle School lounge, multiple prayer service options, an enhanced curriculum, and many other changes. Your support in this area will make our Middle School distinctive from the Lower School and enable us to provide the best Middle School experience for our students.
